The Dutch Research Delta, a strategic cooperation between KPN, TNO and several Dutch universities (Twente University, TU Eindhoven, TU Delft, Erasmus University, RUG) aims at stimulating fundamental and applied research that addresses the above challenges, along three research lines: Social Innovation, Trans-sectoral innovation & Technical Innovation. It supports more than 10 PhD researchers by financial means, coaching and trainings.

Every year, the Dutch Research Delta organizes 2 conferences, one essentially for the students, the second one is open to the public. The next open venue will be on October 1st, at TNO ICT in Delft. Business community, acadmics, researchers, the participants come very different horizons to attend the presentations and parallel sessions. Also the Netelcom Award (http://www.netelcom.nl/) will be this year again, for the second time, attributed to the best paper and presentation of the Dutch Research Delta.
